Who are the 10 Greatest African Boxers of All Time?

From the Rumble in the Jungle to Floyd Mayweather and the Klitschko brothers, the most famous boxers have been American, British, or European. There are exceptions like Manny Pacquiao from the Philippines of course. However, how well do you know African boxers? There’s been some fantastic exponents of the punch and shuffle who might not have got the spotlight they deserve.

To give them more prominence, we’ve put together a list of who we think are the top 10 boxers in African history, and they include South Africa’s Welcome Ncita in 10th and Uganda’s Cornelius Edwards in 9th, but we’re not going to spoil the result with a full list here.
